Meet at the Mountain Ski Trips

While the ski season in PA is underway now many member groups meet up to ski Jack Frost or Blue Mountain or Elk Mountain.  Good weather with lots of days with snow making temperatures has provided a lot of local skiing opportunities in 2025. Many of our member got in many of these meet at the mountain trips. Join us to meet new ski buddies. Skiing with friends is always fun. Vermont Trips-
Often members get together for for trips to Vermont, NH, and/or Maine.
Many of our members attended the 70+ Skiers Club Okemo trip the first week of January. Quite a few were under 70 years of age. A group of NPSC women got together for a Stratton trip in January.  Jenny broke her arm on the first run down the mountain putting a damper on the trip.

     Past Trips/Activities (cont'd)-
Steamboat 2025Jan 25-Feb 1 The club trip to Steamboat ski area in Colorado was a great success. There were 40 attendees, we had a great trip!  A couple of minor injuries, minimal travel / luggage issues, great conditions and sunny ski days, lots of positive feedback about the Gala (great food, a lot of fun!), Wednesday night. The North Penn ski race team came in second in the slalom race on the mountain. Go Snow Pigs! You can see photos below (and in the Photo Albums) from the gala, and the DJ dancing that ensued. A photo of the entire group of NPSC Steamboat participants is posted at the bottom of the home page.
. Check out club member photos from the trip at Photo Albums. You can also post photos to a Photo Album accessible thru your Profile Page.  See the FAQ and this Pictorial Guide to Adding Photos.

Val Gardena Dolomites Italy- North Penn Ski Club had a group of 25 at Val Gardena from March 1-9,2024.  The week featured a variety of conditions from warm and slushy to beautiful blue-bird days to fresh show accompanied by white out conditions.  The views were incredible and the guides that Elysha Thompson arranged for us were wonderful.  Amazing to ski from town to town with so many lifts, gondolas, trams, slopes to choose from AND many lovely rifugios (refuges/mountain cabins) to grab a bite or a meal and beverages at.  Hotel Oswald had a typical quaint European vibe and fantastic meals.  A 3 day pre-trip to Venice was very much enjoyed by 19 of the group.  Thanks to Dave Schoneker for setting the trip up and Pete Ryan for running it!
See the Val Gardena Photo Album for pictures from this amazing experience.
