KAYAK TRIP on Mullica River with Pinelands Adventures in Shamong NJ

This is a joint North Penn/Upper Bucks Ski Club Trip. Sign-up on Signup Genius using button at right which will take you to UBSC Signup Genius. Sign up for KAYAK TRIP there so we have one participant list and know how many people intend to participate.

Make a reservation with Pinelands online-using this Pinelands Reservation link. (A 10% discount for being a ski club member will be applied) You can also call Pinelands directly to make your reservation by mentioning UPPER BUCKS SKI CLUB and the date to get the discount price. You will either be reserving a kayak and shuttle spot, or if you are bringing your own kayak, just a shuttle spot. Currently the participant cap is 16 but Pinelands will try to work with us to accomodate more.

Waivers- Everyone needs to fill out Pinelands Waiver online.Pinelands' Waiver  or it can be done in person, when you arrive.

PRICING: Cost to rent $45 Single Kayak, $72 Tandem Kayak (or Canoe), Cost for Private Transport (i.e. bringing your own kayak is $27 per single kayak, $40.50 per tandem kayak (or Canoe). Telling them you are with the Upper Bucks Ski Club group should get you this 10% discount. This is a windy twisty river, and a canoe is not recommended. Unless you are an experienced paddler, you should reserve a single kayak for each person not a tandem kayak for two. Life jackets are included in your rental. Bring you life jacket if you are using your own boat.

Day of the Trip, Remember: Pack your own lunch, water, sunscreen (or rain gear if applicable). Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. Wear water shoes or sneakers, no flip flops. Bring a dry set of clothes to leave in the car.  Arrive at Pinelands Adventures in Shamong NJ by 10:00AM. Trip departs at 10:30AM. We will spend around 2-3 hrs on the river.
